Paradas is a series of still, slow, moments.
These moments represent a distilled sense of time - our time spent waiting, and furthermore, the time we spend mentally and digitally ‘loading’. For me, this ‘loading’ time creates a meditative space where I can reconnect with myself, my place, and the spaces around me – a moment of stillness in the distracted rush of everyday life. Endlessly looping and seemingly still, these moments serve as a meditative, eternal, inbetween space. A digitized space mirroring aspects of the physical, and the slow, yet constant passing of time we inhabit.
